Community Learning Space

The Community Learning Space will provide a contemporary new dedicated area for museum activities. The space will be used by school groups and it will also be made available for the local community to use outside museum opening hours.

Facilities & Access

This space has been converted from 1970s wagon sheds.

Now, floor to ceiling glass doors look out onto the central Farmyard and the 14th century Abbey Barn. Underfloor heating has also been added, there are kitchen facilities and access to toilets.

Facilities include a digital projector, screen and laptop, sound system and hearing loop.

The space can be used out of hours (independently from the rest of the museum building) and is accessed via the entrance adjacent to the public footpath that runs through the museum site.
