A small shop offers gifts and souvenirs.

Access

Most of the museum buildings are fully accessible, with a lift, accessible toilets and automatic doors.

There is a car park on site with three dedicated disabled parking bays. The entrance to the museum is wheelchair accessible and is approximately 30 metres from the car park.

A lift provides access to all the museum galleries, Farmyard, Abbey Barn, Café and Community Learning Space.

There is level access on each floor of the buildings with space to manoeuvre between displays. Some doors open automatically. There are accessible toilets on the ground floor and adjacent to the Community Learning Space.

Please contact us if you require assistance in accessing the museum.

Unfortunately we do not allow dogs into the museum galleries, orchard or the Abbey barn, except for assistance dogs. However, dogs are welcome in our outside courtyard space, where there is seating linked to the Grain Store Cafe. Admission charges do not apply to visitors just wanting to use the cafe and the museum staff will be available to direct any visitors to this space.
